With both consoles due to be unveiled at this years E3 in just over a months time Sony seem to have the edge on Microsoft when it comes to being first. The Playstation 3 will be shown for the first time at Sony Pictures' complex in Culver City, just outside Los Angeles at 15.00 PST on Monday May 16th.

But we are talking a matter of minutes here as Microsoft will reveal their Xenon/Xbox 360 or whatever they call it, three hours later at 18.00 PST in downtown Los Angeles. Obviously the timing could be crucial here, if the Sony event run's for longer than its expected too (I have a sneaky feeling it will) it will be a bit difficult to view both events in their entirety.
