America's Army the freely downloadable game has just released its latest patch, new to the game is weapon-equipped vehicles and some new maps.

The US Army has today released the latest patch update to America's Army: Special Forces for download. Titled "Downrange," the file contains the full client of America's Army: Special Forces v2.1, as well as the patch's new additions. Weapon-equipped vehicles make their debut in the new patch, including Stryker vehicles. Additionally, the patch includes new maps and a new sun-flare visual effect that players can use to their advantage to try to hinder enemies facing the sun.

I have never played the game myself but when i get back to my PC I may download it and give it a try as it does seem quite a good game.
