AMD Launches 939 Pin Athlon 64's  by Craig D at 11:24

939 Pin Athlon64 The NDA covering AMD's latest CPU offerings would appear to have expired today, reviews and previews are begining to pop up all around the interweb.

None of them are particularly cheap, but they are all extremely fast gaming platforms. I for one certainly won't be buying one anytime soon, they are just too expensive.

Reviews: [H]ard OCP, AmdZone, and Anandtech

Looks like a very fast chip, though the price aint all that suprising.. new chips always are rediculously expensive. Have to see how the prices are in 6-10mths I guess. Being someone that usually keeps to the intel route the prescott is a real let down so far, so when I next upgrade the choice to change to AMD is gunna be very tempting.

There weren't any reviews last week. Other than a leaked one on X86Secrets in French.
