DICE have today officially revealed the 'Back to Karkand' content pack launch dates, as expected it's coming got he PS3 a week earlier than everyone else on the 6th (next Tuesday) with PC and Xbox 360 users having to wait until the 13th.

The pack contains four remade Battlefield 2 maps (Strike at Karkand, Wake Island, Gulf of Oman and Sharqi Peninsula) along with new vehicles, dog tags, weapons and achievements.

"Free for those that pre-ordered or purchased the Limited Edition of Battlefield 3, Back to Karkand is another way for us to say thanks to our fans and show our continued support for the game," said Patrick Soderlund, Executive Vice President of the EA Games Label. "The launch of Battlefield 3 was only the beginning as we vow to keep the game alive with additional content and gameplay improvements in the months ahead.
