Sooooo, tried to order a replacement motherboard for my fourth PC which went tits up the other day....I don't know if i should name the supplier here but basically i had many troubles and frustrations resulting in the following rant/complaint letter. Wifeness thinks i went over the top. I thought it was balanced and mature, tsk, women. http://www.livejournal.com/users/weaverdh/ It's not all good of course, in the meantime, someone in Edgworth in Bolton is due to get my motherboard by pre-12am special delivery tommorow. I live in the Highlands of Scotland, excellent.

I know a few people on here have had trouble with a couple of the reputable online dealers on here, mainly ocuk.
Not had any trouble myself tho.

Aye, SA-Mavrik had LOTS of trouble with OCUK. We stopped using them also, along with everyone we could warn about them. CCL have always been good to me, about the only other place i trust is a bloke called Muhammed 20 miles away, those two and trade suppliers like Bluepoint and Metrologie. I think i'm going to have to setup business again and get my trade accounts open once more, start doing proper maintenance contracts for people who don't like dealing with twonks.

Cheers m8. Scrappers dragged me over after i tried to find out what happened to some of the old SA core. I still get a twinge in my left eye socket when i think back to the time when Scrappy beat me to death with a spanner in TFC and got a screenshot. Tosser.

scan have some of the worst customer server i have ever seen. Ok this was a year or so ago, but i orderd some blank cds they sent the wrong ones. You end up waiting about a hour for some one to pick up. When they do 1 of 3 things happen 1/ They hang right up on you 2/ They dont respond 3/ They put you on hold for another hour [i tend to get v annoyed swear at the phone and hang up after 2 hours] I cant say i think much of ocuk either, i had a blown mobo took them 2 weeks to tell me it woudnt even power on. They use to have good customer service as well. Dabs dont even bother with Have heard good things of cpu city from scrappy but we all know he is mentally damaged.

I pointed Scrappy in cpucity's direction, we have both had very good service from them, Scrappy in particular has swapped a few things ad is still happy. Right now, they are quite small and provide good customer service, it's going to depend on who they recruit as they grow.

ive had no problema t all with OCUK to be honest
i have ordered over £1300 worth of pc gear in the last 3 months, and getting it next day every time, no issues at all with any of the goods received. i even returned a fx5700 i bought before christams and swapped it for a mp3 player, this was done within 1 week, i returned it becasue it was for my old xp2400, but upgraded and bought ati x800, new cpu, everything.
10/10 my opinion for OCUK
