OK with christmas coming up and my recent EMP problems, ill let you know what I want for Christmas so you dont get stuck deciding.
CPU - Nothing Less than a A64 3500 (939)
GFX Card - Nothing Less than a 6800GT
Motherboard - Somekind of nice 939 Motherboard (A Special Custom built one with Sound Storm welded to it)
May aswell throw in a new Gig of RAM also.
Its first come first served im afraid so you better get buying the gear quickly for me, otherwise someone else will jump ahead of you in the queue.

I'd go for a 3200+ 90nm and overclock (easily to 3800+ speeds so I hear)
I used to have a handle on life, but it broke.
