TV. Although your current TV isn't too shabby.

But still TV.

If you wanna play games, a new gfx card.

TV's are also about to change quite a lot. HDTV etc, cheaper flat pannels, all sorts of shit, minefield man, I wouldn't waste my cash on an expensive TV right now, very dangerous.

I had a 28" JVC widescreen and it lasted me 8 years, I have just bought a 32" widescreen and 5.1 amp thingy for just under 500 quid and im very happy with it.

Although I will go insanely larger when the price drops a bit.

Still answer to your Q tv all the way baby.

If Stan picks up on this thread he will blow us all away with his *geeky* set up.

Hmmm... it's difficult tho. You can hold back forever, if you're always looking over the horizon. Any time is as good as the next, IMO.

Well atm if you want a decent Plasma or LCD youll have to pay a fortune.

I bought a 36inch Widescreen Toshiba CRT about 3 yrs a go and it cost me £1600.

Its superseeded now, Stan has the newer model, but it did take a while for that to happen.

Things are moving atm, the Plasma scene is probably moving faster than anything else.

I reckon at some point next year youll get a very nice Plasma for a couple of grand.

If your interested in getting a CRT then now is probably as good a time as any, as you'd expect the CRT Tech Tree grows pretty slow these days.

As ive said if you want a TV right this minute and dont want to pay stupid money for something that gonna be superseed after a few months id go for the CRT Value for Money option.

leave the Plasmas/LCDs to the likes of Stan and his millions.

As far as upgrading your PC, thats just the usual story so I wont bother repeating.

Yes i agree go tv, but make sure its hd compatible, kinda rules out crt as i dont think they make hd tv's. If you want a 42 inch plasma cheapest hd compatable one is the hitachi 5200 at 2.2k. No point wasting cash on anything non hd yet, hd is coming, and you can even get hd satalite now.
Whats the rest of your system cos if thats slow no point just changing g card.

I bought a widesreen TV a few weeks ago, 28" sanyo something or other. Looks good enough for me, it'll do. £200 from ASDA, lol. Cba with all this spending days looking through loads of different places for a good price or good TV. I'm just plain lazy.
