Hello,

I've found that a lot of synthesist's get really hung-up around a sound, or a patch, they think that the sound is actually, on it's own, enough to construct an entire piece of "music" this is rarely true. I listen to a lot of pieces here, and on other forums, and they start with one sound, continue with that sound, and end with that sound, this is not musical development, it's boring, you know what's going to happen before you've even heard it.That's why I stopped going to free-improv clubs, I may as well stay indoors! because I know what it's going to sound like before I've even heard it.

Please help.
