as a PC gamer who hates halo, means nothing to me :-)

It's not so much that, I've just always thought it was the most over-rated FPS of all time, I bought the PC version and it is quite frankly appalling, and exceptionally boring to boot.
Bungie got really lucky to be honest, if it had come out on PC first it would have got nowhere as a series.
I used to have a handle on life, but it broke.

True, but it happened to appear right when the original Xbox was just starting to flag, thereby converting people (including me) to Microsoft and making a pretty penny for themselves as well. Wish I had that kind of business savvy! Plus, it's not as bad as you think Mani, you're just a diehard PC fanboy!
