Well as some of you know I'm pretty close to finishing my degree, been pretty emotional but very fun! Anyway I thought I would be proactive about what I'm doing after uni and I applied for some jobs, I was looking into recruitment as I thought it would be the right sort of job to be and pays bloody well!

So I went to my first interview on wednesday and things went pretty well, got invited back for drinks with them after work, got along with them really well free booze flowed all night long!

Wasn't sure how well it went at the time, but I was pissed, so obviously very happy. Then this morning at about 9am I get a phone call with a job offer from the company, my first ever interview!! So happy, but now basically I'm working for the Times #45 employer (and guardian #1 two years running!)

So yeah, just thought I would share with you guys as I'm pretty over the moon about it

Congrats mate, getting a job out of uni can be a real bitch sometimes.

I've been in my job for 3 years now and it was only a stop gap to work out what i wanted to do!! Anyway, thats why i decided to go travelling around the world next year! Hopefully you'll enjoy your job though!

Prepare for many hours on the phone hassling people!

Ohh yeah! I do know that its not going to be the easiest job!
