Jimbo mentioned this in IRC, just thought i'd stick it in here in case you aint seen it.

Maybe Mr Intel's vision of ever increasing clock speeds is going to hit a brickwall unless some guy in a lab coat comes up with something new in the production process.

Will we be sitting inside a freezer with our PCs for the next Intel/AMD release? We will have to wait and see. Or maybe we'll all get a vapourchill case for free.

Air cooling is just getting bigger and bigger, what with the 120mm fan'd Thermalright heatsink and the various large heatsink blocks raised up on heat pipes sorta like that one.. but to include that plastic cover is rediculous

that is just plain ridiculous, is there no sort of cryo cooling about for extreme temps ?
