Hi,
Apologies for the advertising, please remove this post if it's against any forum rules or move it to the relevant section.
The reason for the post is I am trying to drum up interest for a LAN Party event near Reading, south England. I think some of you guys would be interested!
The purpose of the LAN party is to get every one and their machines down to a village hall we rent out for a weekend of top quality gaming action on our purpose made low-latency network. No lag – no messing! It's great fun playing all the latest games with everyone in the same room. The party part of the name comes from the social atmosphere the events have, everyone's friendly and it's great for getting to know like minded people. If you're over 18 you can have a few beers with your games in the evening too.
We'll have servers for quake, CoD4, Crysis, CS:S, TF2, Unreal Tournament 3, and whatever people want to play it's not a problem to get going.

No worries, won't be making it myself but I hope you all have a good time, ages since I went to a lan meet 
I used to have a handle on life, but it broke.

This is my neck of the woods & so I would turn up to have a beer but my Kit is to plumbed in for me to go sticking it the car .

the last LAN's I really went to were I14 or so. Have a good time though
