Many of us have known it was coming for a while now, but yesterday the author of the fantastic Wheel of Time series Robert Jordan died.
I would like to pay my deepest respect and condolences to his family and friends, his work has touched me and many others around the world.

May you shelter in the palm of the Creator's hand, and may the last embrace of the mother welcome you home.

I'm only part way through the series, I must say im currently enjoying it. It is a sad loss that we see him and Gemmel pass onto the grave. Good writers are hard to come by these days
