With the recent critism PS3 has been receiving has anyone changed there mind over which next gen console they would like?

Personally I was hoping to hold out for a PS3...dont think I will now though.

Got a 360 and I'll be getting a PS3 when it's out. MGS4 and FFXIII look too good to miss.

The 360's power has actually surprised me from the E3 stuff though. Gears of War looked stunning and ran perfectly. I downloaded Lost Planet too which also looks stunning AND runs at a perfect framerate.

Im still hoping that PS3's power has not been fully utilised at E3 i think we will see better things from it.

No need to hope Jammin, it's quite normal for it to take a while for developers to get used to new hardware - not to mention how unique the PS3 hardware is. I think its safe to say there are going to be great looking titles on the 360 and PS3, whether its worth buying either until then is another question entirely.

I am holding out for the PS3, I just have a feeling the Cell processor might give it the edge over the 360. I read that the SPE's are well suited to graphics & physics which may mean that the nVida GPU will be able to hand off certain tasks to the processor . Blue ray is to me the biggest downer as I am not convinced it will win out against HD-DVD & I want to be able to use the platform to run legacy media & upscale it to HD .

I dont think i will be going ps3, one the price and the other is the fact that all the games at e3 looked very average hell gt3 looked like a ps2 game. It isnt well thought out imo, the controller isnt a patch on the one in wii. It says it can play sacd but doesnt have 5.1 external outputs and thus you cant play sacd at the higher res it is encoded in. I just aint a fan of sony products and for the most part the style of games on the ps3. I might buy a ps3 in a few years when its ALOT cheaper, i will be buying the wii and most probs a 360 because there are actually games on that i want.
They said it costs so much because they want people to use it in their home cinema, but lets be honest most people dont own a home cinema and those who do sure as hell wont be putting a console into it.

tI was goning to go for a x360 and prob still will as i know 4-5 people with one and they are not planning to get a PS3 and I whant to follow the crowd!!, or play them online, one of the two.

but my money is on the Wii, ok it will not have the market share that sony or Microsoft will or as meny games and i will not know anyone with one to play with, but after seeing the zelda video Mdnight possted I'm 100% sold, that and the normal controller to.

Wii for me probably. Xbox has never interested me ever, and PS3 looks shoddy and overpriced atm. For top-end graphics i'll likely just upgrade my PC. For fun quality gaming i'll have a Wii.

Hmm, how does it though? Has there actually been anything released apart from a little FMV teaser? I'm pretty sure that wasn't in-game. There was no gameplay shown at all.

at first look they seem quite bad at physics, no branch prediction, little/no cache, in order, all opposites of what is normal for a processor to be strong at physics. However epic seems to be pretty pleased with it, sounds like it will take some effort to program in an optimised way for it though which isn't too promising.

if i had to choose id go for an xbox360 as i have a shitty laptop however i dont really care too much for either after seeing the wii in action
