if you get a good program then no, if you get morphus then hell yes.
as for illegal, no a program is not illigal but the things you share maybe, bepends on the copyright

i have to be honest but from the little of you i have seen, i just know the second u install some music sharing program your pc will get infected by lots of virus's.

Napster and Itunes tbh Napster is better because you get unlimited downloads (buying is diffrent) for £9.99 a month and its only an extra £5 to get the drm access that lets you port your downloaded media to any mp3 player. and its legit, and on top of that its virus free, updated regularly, and its fast (most songs download at 500KB/s or faster on my 10meg line [2 songs at a time  ])
Fast is fine, but accuracy is everything.
