StonR - I did the same ... the CPU is only a stand in until the X2's come down in price so I clocked the tits of mine & its rock stable at 2.66 Ghz as it does make a major difference to the performance ( 25 Fps on Doom & about 14fps on Far cry ) on games . If you want any help on getting your HT / FBS ratios fine tuned then give me a shout as I am running the same CPU & RAM . I have to say this ... my second PC is running an Athlon XP-M 2500+ ( standard clock = 1.8 Ghz) it has been running rock stable at 2.4 Ghz for two years now & I do some really critical work on it such as video editing which would fail if the rig where not stable.

Quote: StoneR I have spent a few days tinkering and foung a decent speed etc.. I'm running the CPU @ 2.4Ghz (Stock was 2.0Ghz).. And have overclocked the gfx from 350/900 to 480/1.08.. I get 100fps steady on BF2 on high settings where as before I got about 80 on stock speed. Thats a big o/c on the graphics, I'm suprised.. although I've never really looked into how well 6800's o/c. My CPU is 2.2 standard, clocked at 2.5Ghz, graphics 520/540(1080), clocked at 560/580(1160). I could definatly clocked them further but I have a shuttle and you gotta be careful with the ambient temps.
