| Does this site generate Stats Sigs? |

Glad to be a new member here. I like the layout and the stats are sleek and comprehensive. I have seen some people with stats sigs that look like they are generated from here. Am I just blind and cant locate it?

We don't actually genreate sigs at present, I haven't had time to investigate doing it really. Not sure if I will get round to it.
I used to have a handle on life, but it broke.

i think its a gif with a text overlay.. well i looked into it and the main way of doing it is using java to create a gif image with the overlay.. (but i suck at java)
the other way is to use xml to create the overlay..
Fast is fine, but accuracy is everything.

It's easier to just make a gif on the fly (or cached), i dont know how CF handles that but its fairly easy in PHP. Not convinced its worth Craigs effort though

I'm guessing people use the open source image toolset imagemagick to do it. I've done similar things for clients but frankly can't be bothered, I'm not a fan of sigs, hence this forum doesn't even allow them.

Understood. The one I saw was probably just a custom sig that linked directly to this site. I know next to nothing about scripting and coding. I just like to shoot people, online of course.

go to www.tehsig.com, and make your own BF2 sigie, its the best till now. this is mine/ with my self maded sigie.

It's image, not img.
That's one hell of a big ass'd sig imho, far too much crap on it. How the hell can you read what people say in a forum when it's full of those things in everyone's sigs?

yea its big, but nice. if i make it smaller than the picture gets to fuzzie. you cant see the details  strange why image, evvery site has almost [img] [/img] as code

Yeah most of the bf2 sigs ive seen are over kill, its not as if you need every detail on there. Just put the basics and link off it to gameslave for the full stats
