of course it will be close between the 2, fack knows which one will be better, but as said in the beginning of this thread, it'll come down to the better games & peoples personal opinions sony with the playstation market, might of had the upper hand & been the better known console before but the xbox is now just as recognised so cant see there being much difference between the 2 really! again tho with posts already been made on this thread, i think MS have the upper hand by bringing out the 360 before sonys PS3 :]

regarding the FFVII "remake" i dont know exactly about a remake of the FFVII game but i do know they are currently in making of a FFVII "spin-off" game called FFVII: dirge of cerberus where you play as vincent as the main character and seems to be a mix of the FF games & resident evil.

Not sure about the market comment, the PlayStation brand is huuuuge, cant see the Xbox coming anywhere near that. Its bound to make large inroad into Sony's market share though. The tough thing for Sony will be making it sound great when they launch, since overall the games are unlikely to be any more impressive than the 360's. Developers have also had more time to get used to optimising for the 360 hardware too.

oh yea, and microsoft is a little company in hay green and bill gates it the poorest/coolest person in the world. Optimisation!?!?!? the 360 is basically a pc. also the ps3 has more than 1 processor - so if your talking about optimisation; you got a poor argument lad.
