just been reading this over on the register, I do love a pointless surveys

- I am going to bare knuckle fight a bear now.

tbh they should have done a survey to see which owners are less whinny abusive gimps .

lol, 360 owners are much more likely to be moaning whiny teenagers with very bad attitudes if Xbox Live is anything to go by.

True, but they aren't all whiny teens, i find when i play games that aren't so mainstream- like Splinter Cell Double Agent for example- the whiny teen-ness goes down a whole lot. Plus older players tend to kick teens as soon as they log in, or speak, or if they have a stupid name, or if they're American...

However, there is a fair amount of whiny adults too, usually after ive snapped their necks in multiplayer...

lol, PC mp gaming has it's moments but does tend to be nowhere near as bad to be honest.

I swear 90% of the people I encounter on XBox Live playing GTA4 must be half the age of the game's 18 certificate. It is quite fun telling the abusive little arseholes where to stick it though.

Often I have my headset on but muted just to hear the arguments that inevitably break out between gamers - either because someone's killed someone (No! It can't be!) or stolen their car, or is just following them and lurking suspiciously above them in a helicopter (my preferred tactic). It is good entertainment, but I can usually only stand about 10 minutes of pre-pubescent screeching before I yank the headset out.

Still don't think I'm going to try online console gaming for quite some time! My newest console is a PS2 and i only got that for the final fantasy's/GTA's/Gran Turismo's. PC's all the way
