Hi guys. I'm trying to do some research to understand which games for PC are the best from the best. Other words what games you could call "best games all times"? I was at TestFreaks and saw rating based on expert and user reviews: http://www.testfreaks.co.uk/pc-games/?sort=scoreThere are TOP5 PC games : 1. World in Conflict 2. Half-Life 2: Episode Two 3. Company of Heroes: Opposing Fronts 4. Command & Conquer 3 Tiberium Wars 5. Galactic Civilizations II: Dark Avatar Other ideas of top 5 games please?

I wouldn't put any of those in the top 5.
Half-Life 2 (the original before the episodes would be) Doom (Ground-breaking) Warcraft or Starcraft (The RTS's) SimCity (Sold millions and is still selling) The Sims (same as above)
Tbh World in Conflict was ok but wouldn't make my top 20

For me Knights of the Old Republic - Has to be in the list, the single best RPG I have ever played.
Counterstrike - Untill they utterly ****ed it, no game come close to how cs felt when it ran right.
Mafia - May not be in the top 5, but everyone I know who has played this game loves it and thinks its a classic, even 5 years on.
Half Life 2 - Just damn near perfection really.
Doom/Doom 2 - What more needs to be said.
I also really liked the first Dues ex, it made you feel like anything was possible, the sequel was a piece of dumbed down shite though.

My top 5 in no order at all: Starcraft - Just absoultey amazing game, its still fun now 11 years later! Civilisation 4 -Improved one of the best series of all time, just absolutely stunning, great game, sucks you in for hours. Company of Heroes - Completely redefined RTS games for me, I just can't get bored of it, (love Dawn of War as well) Dark Age of Camelot - I know, I know... An MMO! What?! Seriously though back in its day i think it set alot of benchmarks for the genre that are still trying to be copied to this day, it was great fun to play and introduced something new apart from the grind of usual mmo's. Call of Duty 1 - Token FPS! Na... Seriously I think this was a great FPS of its day, the maps were well balanced, the single player was great fun and it also started a fantastic series which is still strong today. I just remembered Transport Tycoon, which is possibly one of my favourite games ever, But i cant think of one to take out so my list will have 6 in it

Half Life / Half Life 2 (and eps) - probably the best game ever made Broken Sword 1&2 - the others were not as good by far Morrowind & Oblivion - so all consuming - take up literllay months of my life at any one time Mafia - so atmospheric Counterstrike

I was questioning a couple of your choices i.e. Theme Hospital (ok I haven't played it!) and AVP (gash).
