I'm currently downloading the demo for Condemned: Criminal origins (found a DL that doesn't make me wait fileplanet <.< here: www.condemnedgame.com) Anyway, I started DLing it cause I saw a friend playing it here at a LAN party, and it looked pretty neat. Anyone played it/know anything about it?

Lot's of mixed report tbh, some think it's really scary, some think it's average.

Hmm. What didn't people like about it? (I ended up finishing it the same weekend I dl'd it, so I guess you could say it's definitely too short), but it kept me going the whole way through. I'd be interested to hear what people didn't like.

played the first few levels and wasn't overly keen, some of it made me jump though. Not really impressed with it and wont be playing it again.

I suppose it's a bit too similar to a lot of the FPS's out there, but I think the gameplay atmosphere is a little more intense than HL2 or, at times, even FEAR. Though I did end up playing it at night, I suppose.

ya some people just don't like this game, personally i like it alot and enjoy playing it with the lights off. more people should try it before bashing it though.

Will try it if I get chance, along with about 5 others demo's I have downloaded and not istalled yet.

I just finished collecting all the metal pieces and such, (took way too long), but I'll say that the .. extra features you unlock aren't really worth it, though they're kinda cool and give you some insight into what the next game will be.
