As we announced earlier this week, the current issue of PC Gamer (No. 161) features a 14-day free trial of City of Villains, with the full game client on the cover-mounted DVD. Unfortunately for any potential Arachnos recruits in the UK, though, it turns out that there is a problem with the DVD and the client will not install correctly.
The good news is that our elite Arachnos boffins have come up with no less than four solutions to the problem! If you have the current issue of PC Gamer and have had any trouble installing the client for the free trial, read on for details…

tbh you will find City of Heroes was alot better. Got to about lvl 22 in cov then got bored. The idea is good tho that you can goto certain areas and a villain can take on a hero but usualy waste of time cause most heros are now upto lvl 50 even tho the zones make you the same lvl the heros are always slotted up with SO,s so makes them bloody hard to kill :0 But fun anyways.

Coh/v are quite good, I'd certainately reccomend them - the combat system, however, I've always felt was slightly lacking, as it involves slow-to-react spells, very little twitch-fun. No auto-attack, unless you're counting brawl, and let's not go there.
Still, especially in COV, the unique parts of each hero really stand out.

I heard someone say that CoV is just CoH in evil drag, made me laugh anyway.
I used to have a handle on life, but it broke.
