Never played any of the Silent Hill games, but I just saw a trailer for the PSP animated SH comic books (aka Silent Hill Experience), here www.konami.com/store/silenthillexperience . Looks like its pretty cool, I even checked up on the game history for SH on wikipedia, didn't know SH had a pretty cool horror plot. What do you guys think about the Silent Hill plot?

Silent Hill is a fave series of mine. genuinely disturbing games combined with a decent and involving plot made for a cracker of a game. The sequels expanded on these elements and the franchise remains one i monitor closely. Looking forward to the film too (gasp!).

Yeah the film does infact look pretty good, i've seen a couple of trailers for it and it could actually even be scary in some places. It doesn't appear to be some cheap crap cash-in job at least.

I loved the Silent Hill games. The atmosphere in them is very creepy. I actually prefer them to Resident Evil. Hope the film isn't a let down like most films made about games.

Yeah silent hill one was awesome and accually scary at some points.
hopefully the film will manage to make me jump at least once [all the modern horror's have failed miserably, with me just sitting stock still unflinching throughout!] (could have something to do with the fact that im soo used to large explosions and bangs going off arround me that i dont even notice when some random monster/we jumps out of a wall)
Fast is fine, but accuracy is everything.

ya this looked like a cool little addition to the Silent hill series, i hope you guys enjoy it. I bought the Silent Hill experience for my PSP today. mostly cuz it looked good and was good from what i heard, but also it was just damn cheap.

Hmm. This looks interesting. the SH games have always been pretty fun. I didn't know they were making a movie, though.

silent hill games are legendary! but unfortunatly watching the film the other night.. its alright but a major letdown i felt! it was scary, only a portion of the atmosphere was captured, the cgi was absolute dire & very non-realistic so not a recommended if you a SH fan sorry
