Depends what you want.

DS has 'different' games, PSP is no doubt more powerful and more customisable.

At a guess i would say the PSP runs more emulators as it has a more standard control interface, but if i had to have one i would go DS, as Mani said it has 'different' games, where as the PSP just has shitty consol ports. I'm not that bothered about playing games on the move coz I'll just get mugged

Nintendogs doesn't do it for me, so yes, crap.

Lot's of people love that sort of stuff though, hence why Nintendo do so well.

I beleave that has somting to do with the firm ware version, all PSP's out now will come with thelatest one on, it should still work on Wi-Fi as its not conected to a punkbuster type server.

That dead pixel issue was with the first batch of units, it's not an issue anymore, I think they'll even swap your machine if it has any dead pixels.

I know a few people with it, they love it. Mario cart, despite being cheesey as hell is still one of the most playable games ever.

the DS is shit when you use it compared to the PSP.. the screen on the DS is awful to look at whereas the PSP has a stunning screen for it's size for both games and movies. Plus there's lots of things you can do to hack it for VPN, IRC etc.

The browser on the PSP is also actually quite good, and for £20 you can buy a keyboard for the PSP as well.

I hated the DS, the games are pretty original in some respects but unless you want to draw stupid pacman shapes on the screen to make it eat little wiggly lines etc then i'd stick with the PSP.

Some of the games coming out on the PSP are great, socom online through a wifi connection is pretty fun in 16 player.. my bro has that and loves it.

if the DS had anywhere near the graphics of the PSP i'd have probably got one, but it just feels like a gameboy advance that can do some 3d stuff, with a pen attached for goodluck.

At least with the PSP there's loads of hacks and emulators etc (I know there's some for the DS) and you can do so much more with it at the same time.

The bundled version of the PSP on sale now comes with a 1gig stick I believe.
