I've written a walkthrough for Dawn of War and if you're looking for any help (RTS Newbies in particular) you might like it. Even if you're a veteran you might learn something.

Here's the walkthrough.

It took a while to make it and it's still in progress for the next few days. It's complete in the text for missions 1-final, but I'm working to add images to beautify it/help in tactical data in some cases to make it a more valuable resource. I think I will make it to mission 5 tonight on the beautification process, but it does take a while because I want to deliver decent screenshots.

There are other walkthroughs I've written at my site as well, which may be of interest to some visitors. Enjoy!

Hmm I'll check this out after I complete the game myself. But I have to commend your patience, Id lose focus and just play the game rather than write a walkthrough. Kudos!

Thanks, I finally got my own domain and hope to start writing more. As such, the walkthrough has moved. I edited the url in the original post to reflect that change.

Now all I need is an Earth 2160 walk through *hint hint*

I don't even know what that is, lol. Sadly I'm running out of games to write guides for. Once I finish my C&C generals one (with pictures like Dawn of War) and starcraft I'll be dry until my site picks up.

Gotta get me a new PC! I want to write guides for brand new games. Like, buy them the day they're released and have a guide and review out within a week.

Then I can steal a very little piece of the big boys' pie

EDIT: Holy crap, Earth 2160 is a must have for me. I think it's questionable if my pc will play it though, I just barely get by with Dawn of War.. Still, the unit construction customization thing sounds amazing.

I think people might like my walkthrough. I get a decent bit of traffic from here and other sources. I'm trying to avoid making a links page, so I haven't moved any of my old link partners and have kept only my one-way inbounds. I think googlebot likes it, and if I don't get sandboxed it will be reachable by the general public before too long.

Here's hoping as there's probably some other site with a walkthrough made out there that is getting all my potential traffic. I need that traffic to generate income and help me buy a cutting-edge pc.

I wonder about my chances -- do any developers send new games to gameslave for review? I imagine it's tough to get kind of recognition as this is a very competitive business.
