Ill start the ball rolling in this forum then considering its new  This was mentioned in IRC last night for favorite action scenes and the shoot out in Heat got mentioned a lot. So what is your favorite scene from a film? One of mine would be the scene at the end of Aliens with Ripley kicking arse.

heat is fantastic but i do love the driving scenes in ronin.
Lobby shootout in matrix is allways good fun as well.

hmmm Kill Bill1 where uma has a sword fight in that house with about 40 men is good aswell.

And also the very first scene in Matrix 1 was pretty cool.

Matrix 1 was cool full stop, why, oh why, oh why, did they make the other 2 :/

i quite like the last fight scene in ' a long kiss goodnight'
there is also a really good gunfight scene in 'the crow'
also a few really good fight scenes in the patriot
and a really good one in 'the last of the mohicans'

Nah i think that gets very boring and unrealistic after like 10 kills lol
Terminator 2 is my all time fav and i think that it has some of the best action scenes.
Ronin has the greatest and longest car chase seen on film which is good.

i like the battle scene in Cross of Iron! about 3000 russians getting slaughtered
and the matrix 1 lobby scene,
and ofcourse the scene in "hero" where ice and broken sword assault the palace.... im sure its the city of forever but i cant remember
Fast is fine, but accuracy is everything.

Best action scene? Ahh well, there was this aaawesome scene in Hollywood Hookers #24 where these two ch-.. hey? Oh.. not that kind of action? Well then.. erm.. Various segments from throughout the three Matrix films if all added in together would make just one awesome film  Are some cool 'aren't we just the coolest dude' action scenes in Face/Off... (trying to think of films others haven't mentioned) Black Hawk Down, after pardoning the Yanks' perpetual self-gratification in their movies and/or suspending reality, has some very nice, get the heart pumping action scenes. I still watch that movie now and then as a case-in-point, what not to do in any given scenario movie. Oh and the chase scene in the Life of Brian where he ends up falling into the UFO. Priceless.
