i liked it, didnt think it would be any good, was good flick tho

i watched Pearl Harbour just the other week on Dvd - its a no brainer and easy to watch

It is the most boring film I have ever seen, you want the japs to nuke Pearl Harbour just so you don't have to put up with their god awful "acting" anymore, it really is the definition of everything that is wrong with action films. All explosions and big budget with no characters you care about.

Also what the **** is with the Saving Private Ryan moment in the hospital, its like he seen that film and thought oooh I know that film was moving lets just make everything out of focus and that will make everyone suddenly care that people are dying.

That film kinda proves my point that Michal Bay really is a shit director and the only reason people think Transformers is any good is because of the effects and that Optimus Prime is a badass.

Almost everything in Transformers has been done before, down to the cheesy squade mate who talks another language when annoyed, or down to the kid wearing commedy boxers when his pants get pulled off.

Yes I enjoyed transformers but thats only because its about big robots, otherwise it would be another shoddy Michal Bay movie

This is true but you can nick something out of another film as long as you do it justice and at least do it in style or make it fit the tone of the film and make it seem as though it belongs in the film not just something you put in cos you liked it in say Saving Private Ryan.

Still lets get back on topic to Cloverfield, lots of people seem to like it, and I will watch it and give it a chance. It's just the acting looks so bad I am pretty sure it will wind me up, not to mention the shaky cam style will make me want to puke after 30 mins.

Still nice idea, I think diary of the Dead will do a better job of it though.
