I don't think it is - its one of those films that get stuck in Production hell for like forever.

Mani, you might be thinking of "Omega man" with Charlton Heston, that was in the 70's. At lest thats the flavor I got from this trailor.

I will watch this, but things that come instantly to mind, where are 6 billion bodies, how does he get food that has not yet gone off [like bacon or eggs]. Maybe thats just from the start when its all fresh and if he lives long enough he cooks his own, and he does seem to hunt during the trailer.
How does he have power for dvds, with no one to man the power stations.
I am sure all these questions and more will be answered during the film though.

However I do still like the look of this, and one thing has to be said of Will Smith films they are almost always fun to watch.

I would guess he just eats tinned food to start with, and bottled water. the power for his dvds would come from a petrol powered generator, I am guess in this will lead to some zombies attacking him whist trying to fix it.

No the reason the food thought come to mind was that he had cooked eggs and bacon, well what looked like bacon, for himself and his dog.

I always just watch them on you tube now, when sites dont work so you can watch it here reo - More bad chaps in this one also
