Watched it last night. The acting is fine... there's the odd iffy scene (you could see that they struggled in some scenes to fit the lip sync) but it's completely watchable and I can honestly say I'd rather watch it in english then reading the subs. I expected them to be completely dire because of the trailers I saw but I was given quite a good surprise. I don't think they made the best choices for the trailers :/

The story is FAR more easier to follow too, and alot more makes sense. Those fan subs were terrible.

The only thing I'm not sure about is Clouds and Sephiroths voice. I got used to clouds and in the end it kinda grows on you but Sephiroths... I dunno... he sounds a little too young IMO.

If you've played the game all the way through then you'd recognise alot of the comments made in the film and you'll have a giggle. I think Cid has the perfect voice given for him. Cait is quite funny too. I was quite surprised they gave him a Scottish accent but it's acctually quite fitting ^_^

okay just watched it & its amazing! i loved it tho if you dont know the story or anything about the original FF7 storyline you'll be lost big time!

as for the voice overs.. to be honest well done! lol they pretty much got it spot on tho a few things could of been done better

The DVD does come with the FFVII catch up too but it's the whole game on a video (minus fights etc obviously). I can't see how anyone would sit through it though I'd rather play the game!
