Hey guys,
I've got a new GFX card, and I therefore need a not-shit monitor to play games on. Having had a glance through the Argos and Maplin catalog, I'm not sure what's good. I've got a budget of up to £70-80.
Thoughts?

I wouldn't mind a new monitor tbh. The one my PC's running through atm is a nasty ViewSonic cheap thing, lol.

Most cheap monitors use 'TN' technology in the panel, this generally produces a screen with crap viewing angles and poor colour reproduction. Ideally you'd get an IPS panel and avoid that shit, but they are a LOT more money.
Having said that, some of the better TN panels from Samsung or LG perhaps should be reasonable for PC gaming.

Lg Monitor Only 1366*768, you really want 1920*1080 at least.

That looks good. Yeah the colours on my current ViewSonic TFT screen are awful; a long way from the crystal screen on my laptop.
