Hey, my sammy 226BW is about to pack in (Takes about 10 times of turning it on then off to get the picture to stay on) so i'm looking for a new one. My initial choices so far are

Iiyama

Samsung

Anyone favour one over the other or other suggestion? I have a cap of about £300 so no ultra sharps this time round!

cheers.

I personally detest 1080p computer monitors, 1920*1200 look feels more natural and is MILES better if you do any sort of video editing as you can have full image +controls.

I have a really nice but quite old BenQ at the minute and love it. My advice would be to find a proper monitor, avoid 1080p pieces of shit.

This one is ever so slightly above your budget, but isn't a shitty TN panel like almost all the 1080p cheapo's

Oooh, Dabs is looking purty these days, so is that monitor though, lovely h-ips screen I think, pisses all over crappy 1080p TN panels.

Thats my screen d3cyh its just insane, the best pc screen I have ever seen and almost as good as the £700 NEC jobbies.

You will be blown away, but you may need to turn down some of the colours and tweak the picture when it turns up.

Edit: Never mind, got some settings from a website.
