I'd bet you a tenner that the nvidia LAN drivers are your problem.
I used to have a handle on life, but it broke.

Well I have just updated them, so fingers crossed.
Nope ffs just done it again while viewing high res ingame screenshots on ocuk forums.

Also does anyone know of any software to merge two partitions from the same drive together. Hopefully free please lads.

I use a P5k mobo, not sure which of the lan adapters I'm using though. And no Ryan, dunno!

Sorted the merge, but for some reason now windows 7 wont see the one partition on my raptor raid.
This is just not my day, everything is going wrong, I am about ready to pull my hair out and not the hairs on my head.

So you merged two partitions?
The program says it worked but windows won't read the disk? Did you try rebooting? What does the new disk partition look like in Disk Management?

Sorry wasnt a good post.
Basically I merged two partitions on my maxtor raid, this worked fine, however upon reboot I have found that vista and 7 dont see the RAPTOR raid partition called games. Altho it does see the raptor partition that its installed on.
It see's it in xp though.
I backed up the data and tried to format it, but it failed, partition magic wont see any raid on my system either, so what do you recommend.
Also having issues with the right settings for my quad core in my mobo, its been one of them days.
One other thing, who makes the best router as my netgear is dying and this is abot my 6th, so looking for a different make.

Router: I have a D-Link DIR655 and I'm very happy with it.
Partitions: Did you mark them as active in Partition Magic?
