Quote: Stan I have also found that firefox is no longer checking my spelling, even though that option is ticked in the menu ! un-install the dictionary, restart FF, then re-install it

Do any of your plug-ins work?

Anyway, try this to get Flash working again... #1 Close both IE and Firefox/Opera and use the control panel to un-install flash player #2 Download the official un-installer from here....... http://kb.adobe.com/selfservice/viewContent.do?externalId=tn_14157&sliceId=1Run it and un-install anything it finds. It might make you reboot. #3 Run Firefox, no flash content should work at all (if it does there's still and old plug-in floating about somewhere) #4 Re-install latest Flash version from adobe.com

Could well be none of my plugins work, as even in quicktime movies that play in firefox most of the time I lose the progress bar or am unable to pause or rewind the video.
I will try what you said later Craig thanks alot for the help mate you are a star [if it works, if not then work it out you ****ing muppet]
Can anyone recommend another good browser if I cannot sort these firefox issues, strangely I have never had a problem with firefox on my main rig. I would prefer not to use I.E I just don't trust it.

Wierd, I've just started getting the same problem as you Ryan. If I watch it in Chrome however it's fine. Going to try the reinstall shit Mani suggested. I don't recall changing or installing anything. Possibly a windows update?

Ok, uninstalled and reinstalled Flash. Seems to work fine now. One thing I've just remembered I installed was a plugin for the Fox site to watch TV episodes online. Ryan you install this?
