I generally frown on the whole "gaming" laptop, however i cant knock that MSI laptop for value.

Fast is fine, but accuracy is everything.

I happen to think that gaming laptop is a oxymoron, sure you can spend three grand on one, but it wont come close to a gaming pc at half the price. Not to mention they tend to not last very long due to the heat and the enclosed spaces. I happen to think gaming laptops are huge rip offs, as it ain't like you can even really upgrade them in the future.

I agree with mani and grant on this one, buy your mrs a nice apple laptop or something and then redo your main pc.

If you are dead set on a gaming laptop then be warned you will be spending like 2k on one, they are insanely expensive. Lots of people use alienware [the MOST overpriced company ever], or dell. I have a dell laptop myself [well my mum has stolen it] and I have had no problems with it, but it doesn't get used for gaming.

Verp you can get perfectly viable laptops jsut for browsing the net with wifi for about £300 from PC World. You could get one for each of you for that price and still upgrade your pc.

My problem isnt my big pc isnt powerfull enough, it can deal with anything i throw at it. I have need at the moment for a mid range laptop that can if need play the odd game and will hopefully last 2 years.
