I'm looking for a good program that I can dump on someone's pc to fix problems remotely. The last program I used like this was PCAnywhere or something similar many years ago. Do any of you lot know of any other good software that requires minimal setup on the host pc ?

Using the built in windows remote desktop not an option?
Other than that how about VNC or LogMeIn
I used to have a handle on life, but it broke.

I've just found a cool program called Crossloop. It requires no open ports and is totally free. It has 2 big buttons to host or connect and each time you load it it generates a unique ID verified by their website which both people enter to connect. I'm trying to use it to help people that know NOTHING about PC's so I think this program will do fine Also you need to have a login with their site to use it so it pops up with a big name telling the host who's trying to connect.
