Right i'm gonna take the plunge and upgrade my pc just after Xmas, therefor I'm going to be selling what I currently have - maybe as a complete base pc if anyone wants that.

What I have:

Ahtlon 64 3700
2gb Crucial Ballistix Ram
Asus A8n-Sli motherboard
BFG 7800 GTX 256mb

The case it's all installed in is a Coolermaster Stacker which can be seen here

I also have 2 Sata 200g harddrives and a 700w PSU so if anyone wants this as a gaming pc or just to buy bits of then feel free to send me a PM on the site and make an offer. Obviously if it's not being sold as a complete unit i'll keep the PSU and Hdd's for my upgrade

I just upgraded from similar specs. Now on 512mb 8800GTS, quad-core q6600, 4gb ram 800mhz, 700w psu, 500gb WD caviar. Can finally play Crysis!

I'm having problems though getting all 4gb of ram in. It's 4 sticks of Corsair XMS2 in my Asus P5n-E. I put three in and it's hunky-dory, pop in the 4th and the system won't boot. It doesn't matter which 4th stick it is, or any slot, so it's not faulty RAM.

Anyone know what the problem might be? Google isn't much help.

Ah Craig! Wondered where you'd got to!I have some new email details for you.

Can't be of much help with the ram problem though, sounds like a compatibility issue.

Yeah, sorry about that - got snowed under with work placements and Christmas etc... back in action now though and enjoying a bit of gaming for the first time in a long while!

Good to be back!
