Well since vista 64bit spat my sata drives back in my face (lack of driver support for my mobo) i booted up in XP 32bit.

well its fast as **** but the cpu is only showing 1600mhz on all four cores and not 2400mhz.

post is showing 2400mhz



Fast is fine, but accuracy is everything.

That's because it has an energy saving function that lowers the cpu multiplier when its not under load. If you give it tasks it will go up to full speed. You can disable the power saving function in the bios.

yeah i figured that when i read the manual ^^

got vista ulit x64 running and 5.8score for memory and HDD with 5.9 for GFX and CPU
