There's an interesting performance comparison between Vista and Xp on FiringSquad that's worth a read for anyone still on XP. Virtually no performance difference any more it seems.
I used to have a handle on life, but it broke.

Aye I have tried a few games on vista and xp, and they are pretty much identical with maybe 2fps difference some times, and vista seems able to handle files better as well. It takes me under 1 min to extract a 4.5 gig file from rars in vista, where as in Xp its about 1 min 30 seconds.
I really like vista tbh.

But seriously, yeah, really impressed with vista, so much better then XP.
