No problem. RivaTuner is actually really good so it's handy to have anyways.
You'll want to o/c it soon i'd imagine. Is it a GTX or GTS you have?

Nice. Is that 320Mb or 640? I've got a Gainward 8800GTS 320Mb. It struggles a lot in DX10 just to warn you. :/
I expected it though so i'm not too fussed.

320, didn't think a 640 made much sense at the time, but have since gone mad and bought a 1920*1200 LCD so am gutted I didn't buy a GTX :/

Ouch. Well, it happens to all of us. I bought low(ish) down the card ladder just to tide me over until next year. When the more meaty DX10 cards will start to appear. Can't wait! =)

Maybe a good plan, only spent 200 on this card, which is bad enough I know, but sure I can resell it for 100 next year.

I did the same thing but went uber cheap - like £61 for a 7600GT! But in fairness I only have a 19" monitor & its a nice one so going wide screen is not going to happen till more games support it . Next gen DX10 cards are due December & even then me thinks it will new a game like Jericho or Crysis which will prompt me to make the investment. Now let me try Riva!

Having had my widescreen monitor for quite a while now I can say i'll never be going back. Anyone elses pc always seems cramped no matter what size monitor it is. There's just so much more space with widescreen by far.

Not sure what u mean by going widescreen when games support it mate, every game bar one I have tried on this monitor supports the widescreen res of 1920 by 1200. Hell even old games support widescreen.
