Ok guys,

Im currently having problems getting my amplifier hooked upto my PC and its been a real pain. Ive got an external soundcard which as a Creative Soundblaster Audigy 2 ZS Video Editor and Technics Amplifier with Bose 5.1Acoustimass 10 Series 2 Home theater Speaker system.

The problem is that I cant get any sound from the speakers although when I turn up to the max I can hear it which means the speakers are fine :$

This is how its currently hooked up:

im guessing that you've tried moving the leads around, but usually i run my speakers from the svideo L+R out socket, into the AUX(Video) in socket, but i do also have a completely different setup, so im probably no help at all :S

Maby try the CD/ Phono In lines for the amp..

and check your pc output is set correctly, as if its set to 5.1 it wont output through the stereo channels.

He bought some new cables, although the cables he had should have done it, so i reckon they must have been faulty or something.
