I've got a window fan in the side of my PC blowing cold air onto my current 9600 g-card which hasn't got a fan just a heat-sink. But now i've got this 9800 card off Grant which has a fan on it, is the air-flow from the window fan gonna cause the card fan to spin irregularly? Should i turn the window fan around so it's sucking air out of the PC and not interfering with the card fan?
What do you think?
Cheers.

Leave it as is and see what happens, I suspect it will be fine.

lol, usually its fine unless its a seriously high powered side fan, in which case if anything it'd disrupt your cpu cooler already.
Fast is fine, but accuracy is everything.

The side window fan lined up directly with the card fan so i turned the window fan around just to be safe. However now my system temp is 5-10C hotter, between 40-50C.

thats probably the gfx card generating extra heat, since your old card would have been much lower frequency and wont have been as hot.

tbh u really do want extraction for proper airflow u want one sucking air into the case and another sucking air out of the case
they are probably right that it probably is the extra heat generated from the card but id still have a fan on extraction myself
ive got a 120mm fan on the from of my case sucking in and another 120mm fan sucking air out

I've already got two 80mm fans at the front sucking air in, two 80mm fans at the back sucking air out, and now also my window fan sucking air out.

I wouldn't have that sucking air out, it's there to cool component by blowing cold air over them.

Yeah i was thinking about turning it back around cos the air flow from the window fan isn't strong enough or doesn't reach further enough to conflict with the graphics card fan.
