Hey guys, This is Carpe from [=SPF=]. I'm running Debian atm, my second distro. I started out with Fedora, and got sick of the constant package dependency problems. I don't think Debian's that bad, but I'm still used to windows and have problems every now and then. Right now I'm having trouble with the new version of kopete. When I type ./configure in the shell it does all this checking and then stops saying this: checking for X... configure: error: Can't find X includes. Please check your installation and add the correct paths! I'm pretty sure it's installed in the right paths, but my friend was the one who set linux up for me, so who knows? lol. I'm pretty new to linux and have no idea. Anyone have any ideas? If so, please lemme know. btw, nice site you guys have. Carpe

If you can find a guy called Variant, he's your man. He used to hang round in the #gameslave irc channel now and again, maybe still does.

Thanks for your help, but my friend has come back alive. He used to be running Debian, but because of the new legal stuff, he hates it, lol. So now he's in Gentoo, and I think he had some hardware problems the past couple of days. Nice meeting you all.
