Erm, right old family PC sat right here, but it was VERY old, and i put XP on it, so i thought it might be that, because it did the same thing. Then i gave my old PC to family , all i changed was i put in the original GFX card i got with it, aside from that its the same. Using same keyboard/powercable + screen as the old PC but that is literally it. It never Reset when i used it, not ever.
It is in the same place though. Using same power sockets.
Any suggestions?

Check the BIOS, for power up features (i.e wake up LAN, etc)

check in control panel power management i think or w/e it is that its set to shutdown when clicked you could create the following shortcuts to use from your desktop full shutdown: '%windir%\system32\Shutdown.exe -f -s -t 10' restart: '%windir%\system32\Shutdown.exe -f -r -t 10' abort shutdown/restart: '%windir%\system32\Shutdown.exe -a'
Fast is fine, but accuracy is everything.
