Erm, right old family PC sat right here, but it was VERY old, and i put XP on it, so i thought it might be that, because it did the same thing. Then i gave my old PC to family , all i changed was i put in the original GFX card i got with it, aside from that its the same. Using same keyboard/powercable + screen as the old PC but that is literally it. It never Reset when i used it, not ever.

It is in the same place though. Using same power sockets.

Any suggestions?

check in control panel power management i think or w/e it is that its set to shutdown when clicked

you could create the following shortcuts to use from your desktop

full shutdown: '%windir%\system32\Shutdown.exe -f -s -t 10'
restart: '%windir%\system32\Shutdown.exe -f -r -t 10'
abort shutdown/restart: '%windir%\system32\Shutdown.exe -a'

Fast is fine, but accuracy is everything.
