Rite, heres my new little project that i thought id let u guyz into, whoop:

Gotta restore my old computer which had been left in my room in unconnected bits. I got two monitors, one of which that i KNOW works and a mouse which i found which also definately works. I gotta keyboard with the letters organised so it says "the quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog" instead of qwertyuiopasdfghjklzxcvbnm. I plugged the hard drive in again and the original monitor, and the thing starting clicking and whirring (like what happens when you start up a desktop). The only problem is, that nothing appears on the screen apart from pitch black.

I'd be very greatfull if anyone can lead me in the right direction as computers these days confuzzle me.

Ok u guyz!!! found a solution to the problem. Despite that, with the solution, i got an error.

Ok, here goes:

Updating ESCD ... Success
Verifying DMI Pool Data .......
DISK BOOT FAILURE, INSERT SYSTEM DISK AND PRESS ENTER

at which point, i went into a little spazam.

Oh and btw, the keyboard and mouse wasnt plugged in.

Maybe you just need to re-install windows, or windows is not on the drive..
