Hey

My PC keeps crashing on me and I dont know why. I think its my 6800 as it's seams to be when it uses more then reg GPU power. for example watching videos (and skiping 1/2 way thro), rendering in CINEMA 4D, loading Battlefield.

any help and advice would be great

Mindless info follows.

----
CPU: AMD64 3200+ @ 2140Mhz, 31'c, 1.45v
GFX: XFX G-Force 6800gt, 1.58v
RAM: 2GB cas2 running at cas 2.5

Video driver: 8.1.9.8 (10/12/2005)

Problem:

the system lags to about 2 FPS and then stops alltogher, the caps lock will not come on or will come on 20-30 secs after pressing it.

if there is sound then it will continue to play (in time) until its 100% crashed and then it will stutter and stop.

on some occasions it will blue screen, and when i re-boot it will tell me that window has recoverd from a bad arse error.

Try the new 84.12 beta driver, I've been using it a while and it's fine.

Secondly, check you fan on your gfx card to make sure it's working.
