Ok, sure we've covered this one before, but having done a complete re-install due to hd errors I'm thinkign about taking an image of my system drive, what tools do people use and how simple is it to restore if you have to?

Ideally, I'd like to create the image on another one of my disks, then after a disastser, boot from a disk, restore that image to C: (All SATA drives tho)

Will drive image and or Ghost do that?

Yeah ghost lets you put the image anywhere ( I have my image on my D: ) and it'll make the image in about 10 mins with any drivers of your choice etc.

Very good easy program and you use it to restore your drive after a format in like 2 mins

I use it all the time.

if you do use ghost dont usre ghost 2006 use one of the older versions which lets you backup to DVD and restore with a bootable DVD ( it makes things easier when your trying to restore if the program required to reinstall is included in the image
