Well just got back from meeting with mani and kendo

thought id plug in the new sound card, but i just get static through the headphones (and im not plugged into the Digi output, im connected tot he correct ports )

any help?

I used 5.1 headphones with that card and had no problems, try twisting the connector whiel you have an mp3 playing, make sure it's making a connection or something.

nope not connection ....

mic works but no output on 5.1 speakers or stereo headset
