Mani, any chance you could change the redirect time to only a second or so? You sit there looking at "You will be now be redirected to your post" when in reality you click 'Forward me' because the auto-forwarding takes so long.

That's a trhow back to an old version anyway, I have plans to remove it altogether shortly.
As with many things, it's on the list.

Doing so will lose you the privilege of using avatars.
I'm not linking to it, so this rule may need clarifying, as it doesn't make sense. Surely, if you don't want to host avatars, we have to link to them? You should say something like 'We do not host avatars'.

Upload your avatar with pleasure but its for use here and only here, you CANNOT link to it from other sites, whats un-clear about that?
If you setup and avatar on another forum and give it's url as http://www.gameslave.co.uk/images/avatars/imagename.jpg , then you ARE linking to it, and you ARE using our web space/ bandwidth.
Thing is, that eeryone who views the other forum then turns up in our site logs as a visitor whos viewed no pages. totally ****ign up page views/visit ratio in the log, and this is a VERY important stat while trying to optimise a site. There are also other stats that get screwed by it.
It's hardly a capital offence, but it does cause me all sorts of problems, which is why it's banned.

Yes fine, but rather then saying 'We are not your website' as that implies you cannot host avatars here!
I don't link it anywhere, I use it as an avatar on Jolt, but host that avatar on jolt.

It's hillbilly-clan.com anyway, not jolt. Looking at the people who've played CS for that clan, it's either Russ or Scrappy? Perhaps someone else.
It's simply really, plz do not HOST avatars here, other than for use on THIS site, and the rules are quite clear imho.
