Does anyone use RSS feeds?

I'm adding one to the site and want it testing from a few rss news readers, testing help would be appreciated.

err im sounding thick here, but what is an rss feed ?

Try that.

You should just get xml in your browser, but if you get an RSS news reader, it will check for new news items every hour, or however long you set it up for.

Used to use an RSS feed for Samarize an XP background prog, but aint used one for any other reason. But you never know might be useful to someone once were a little busier.

I'm using an rss new aggregator at work, it collects rss news headlines form all my favourite gasming/news sites on an hourly basis.

All I then need to do is just browse the headlines, and can click thourgh to the site for any stories of interest, saves me crap loads of time.

hmm if you could put a rss news feed that shows the latest three i could use it with an eggdrop.... i.e. type !news and the bot spews out teh latest 3 headlines with links ot read more
