can anyone help....
i have freezing in multiplayer problems,,,
my graphics for 30 secs go like a spectrum loading screen...
i also get kicked to desk top after map round has finnished..

dont ask me about latest drivers as i spent hours sorting them out too...

my system = AMD 64 3500+
1gig 4400 ram
radeon x800xl 256 ddr3 excalibre
nforce 4 gamers mboard

with a 2meg unlimited connection

Sounds like a video issue anyway, I know you sya you've sorted your drivers out, but you are using catalyst 5.6 yes?

Apparently, Catalyst 5.1 work ok with BF2, Have you tried them?

My issues with BF2 were all ram related, I relaxed the timings a little, I dropped from running at CAS2 to CAS2.5 and it that pretty much fixed everything. That's deffinitley worth a try.
